Galactus from Marvel in Video Games

Galactus is one of the strongest villains in the Marvel Comics Universe and debuted back in March 1966 as a new antagonist in the Fantastic Four comics.

Galactus made his video game debut in Silver Surfer (1990) on the NES where he was not one of the villains to defeat and is just a part of the background story of the game. His next appearance in a video game was in the GBA game Fantastic Four – Flame On (2005) where Galactus is again not an enemy, he even needs to be saved by the Human Torch there and is a prisoner of the Skrull.

His role changed finally in Marvel: Ultimate Alliance (2006) where he became a boss.  His biggest roles in video games so far were in Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (2011) where he was the final boss and main antagonist of the game, in the upgrade Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (2011) he also became a playable character in the Galactus Mode. He is also the final boss in Lego: Marvel Super Heroes (2013).

His currently latest appearance in a video game was in Fortnite Battle Royale Chapter 2 Season 4 (December 2020)
