Cloud of Darkness is the main antagonist in Final Fantasy III which was released for the NES in 1990 and later remade for the Nintendo DS and more systems in 2006 (and later). She returned as FF III’s villain in Final Fantasy Dissidia (2008) and its sequel Final Fantasy Dissidia 012 Duocedim (2011). Cloud of Darkness also appeared in a number of smaller spinoff games and in Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call (2014) as a boss. Her latest in-game appearance was in Puzzle & Dragons in 2015 as part of a Final Fantasy collaboration with Square-Enix and Gung Ho. |
