“Being a recent fan of the game Splatoon, Im very happy with Nintendo making a new IP.

The game is very unique and I fell in love with the character design, the game had a futuristic Japanese city feel and it reminded me of Jet Set Radio, another stylish game that I loved. So fan art had to be done. Hope you like it” 

Splatoon for the Nintendo Wii U was released a couple of weeks ago and became a great hit with a lot potential to become a new Nintendo IP for the next years. Not only did it sell over a million copies already, it also attracted artists worldwide that created superb fan art for Slatoon. Like Ry-Spirit from Australia with the example above!

I wish Nintendo good luck to get their act together with more new games by them that are not based on their decade old IP’s.
