Cheep Cheep from the Mario Series – Game Art and an Overview
The Cheep Cheep is a recurring enemy from the Super Mario series and many of its spinoff games like the Mario Party and Paper Mario games.
Cheep Cheep debuted in the original Super Mario Bros. (1985) and returned in the most sequels.
They are a fish species that attacks Mario mostly in the underwater stages, but sometimes they are also jumping out of the water. There are also a couple of variations of the Cheep Cheep like giant versions of them, some behave aggressive, some are just swimming around.
