Chae Lim is a playable character from the King of Fighters Maximum Impact fighting games by SNK Playmore.

She debuted in KOF Maximum Impact in 2004 and returned in all sequels of the spinoff series and also the Pachinko game.

Chae Lim is from Korea and learned Taekwondo from her mentor Kim Kapwham. Initially it was planned to make Kim Kapwham debuting as “Mr Taekwondo” in KOF MI but some of the developers disliked the idea and instead created Chae Lim whose movelist is very similar to the older installments of Kim in the Fatal Fury games.

Like all other King of Fighters Maximum Impact characters she was not seen in any of the main series KOF games and it is very unclear if she will ever return in a new game.
