Erron Black is one of the playable characters and protagonists in Mortal Kombat X, released in April 2015 for the Playstation 4, Xbone and PC. Erron fights on Outworld’s side in the story mode of Mortal Kombat X and actually over 150 years old, Shang Tsung slowered down Erron Black’s aging with his magic. Erron Black is a gunslinger and uses Revolvers as well as a Gun as his main weapons. It is hinted that he might be responsible for killing Jax after the events of MKX, however this storyline in the endings of some of the Mortal Kombat X characters was not used for Mortal Kombat XI (2019) were both Erron Black and Jax returned. |

Official Biography of Erron Black in Mortal Kombat X:
Erron Black’s exact origins are unknown. Born on Earth, he somehow found himself in Outworld. There he spent years wandering its vast territories, selling his amazing weaponry skills to local warlords. Now in the employ of the emperor, Kotal Kahn, Black shows no inclination to return to Earthrealm–or aid them in their present struggles.”
Erron Black’s ending in Mortal Kombat X:
“Nearly 150 years ago, Erron Black had been hired by Shang Tsung to assassinate an Earthrealm warrior. In return, Shang had slowed Black’s aging process. He could therefore afford to be patient. If an employer wanted someone dead, they would be in time. A team of young Earthrealm warriors had caused Erron Black’s current employer, Kotal Kahn, much inconvenience. With the patience of a viper, Black eliminated them all.”
