 Felix, one of the main protagonists in the Golden Sun series

Felix is one of the main characters in the Golden Sun RPG’s which were exclusive to Nintendo Handheld systems so far. Gwendybee who participated in previous Game-Art-HQ Art Collaborations took the challenge and drew him in the fight against the Doom Dragon, the final boss of the second Golden Sun game, The Lost Ark.

“I claimed Felix from Golden Sun… then went waaaayyy overboard. This picture was tons of fun, and it was great getting to try something new with an entirely lineless picture, and dragons (or technically, just the one dragon).
Also, I’d just like to take a moment to declare that the Doom Dragon’s design is very, very goofy.

This dragon is supposed to be the final boss of the entire game, and it’s… rainbow-colored. It seriously has the full Roy G Biv going on. Needless to say, that made picking a color scheme for this picture tricky, but I think I got a pretty decent one!

Anyway, I feel like I should say more about this, but really I’m too excited to get it out into the world on time (for once)! Enjoy!!”
