Zipperhead is a playable character from the Bio F.R.E.A.K.S 3D fighting game developed by Saffire and published by Midway Games in 1998 for the Playstation and later the Nintendo 64. He did not appear in any other games. Zipperhead was a synthoid champion whose career came to a drastic turn after a battle with Bullzeye in which he lost both hands and forearms. He was then moved to Retro status with the addition of cybernetic weaponry replacing his lost tissue. The next step of evolution for a F.R.E.A.K is to become a Dozer. In the game he can shoot flying discs like the Predator and really has all kinds of weapons attached to his body, his visual design is both horrifying and fun. Zipperhead is also the only Biofreaks character displayed on the cover of the game. |

Zipperhead was illustrated for our FGE Art Collaboration, a project ongoing since years with the target to get more and more fighting game characters getting drawn by fans which are almost forgotten completely. Grapiqkad drew Zipperhead for this Project in May 2014. |
