“Hero” was the original title TeamLando, the swedish twins Mange & Viggo named this fan art of the super popular Nintendo mascot Super Mario. It can be discussed that he really is the best hero design ever but the pure success of the Super Mario Bros games since the early eighties ends all questions in such a discussion already..he was is..and probably will be the biggest video game character ever.
