Guardian Heroes is a Sega Saturn beat em up by Treasure which got ported to current digital distribution channels like XBL lately. It is often considered to be one of the best Saturn games and also one of the best beat em ups in general. While it had and has nice 2d graphics, the elements which made this game special were the big varity of characters, the zooming and plane changing. It had a lot additional modes beside the story too and even a 6 player fight mode which is unique till today for a beat em up. This is one of the many artworks by “HeavyMetal” Hanzo Steinbach from Germany, a big fan of the game. |
