Donkey Kong Country was a giant hit on the Super Nintendo and also the first big game introducing pre rendered 3d graphics and Animations as fluid as very rarely seen before. To illustrate these games and their characters like Diddy and Donkey Kong is difficult and only a few artists managed it to carry the feel of the games to their artworks. Arielle Palmer is one of the artists who managed it to get it done though. This piece was drawn with traditional tools and sure is damn impressive. |
