Vanessa is one of the playable characters in SNK’s The King of Fighters series. She debuted in The King of Fighters ’99 Evolution, the Sega Dreamcast port of KOF’99 as one of the exclusive new strikers. In The King of Fighters 2000, Vanessa debuted as a fully playable character and returned in all sequels up to The King of Fighters XI (2005). However, she did not make it into KOF XII-III or the KOF Maximum Impact games. Vanessa returned to the series as one of the four DLC characters for The King of Fighters XIV (2016) in April 2017. In The King of Fighters XV (2022), Vanessa is one of the playable main characters again. |
