The Sumo Bro (Sumo Bros.) is /are an recurring enemy in the Super Mario games since it debuted in Super Mario World (1990) on the Super Nintendo. They did not return in as many games as the majority of other enemies in the Mario Universe and were absent in the games until New Super Mario Bros. U in 2012 for the Nintendo Wii U including the “Boss Sumo Bro” seen in the screenshot above. Their third appearance so far is in Super Mario Party (2018) where they appear as unplayable characters. |
