Ridley also known as Geoform 187 and later as Meta and Omega Ridley is more or less the arch enemy of Samus Aran in the Metroid series and a recurring Boss character who has to be fought in almost all Metroid games. He debuted as a boss in the first Metroid (1986) and returned in Super Metroid (1994) when Metroid II received a remake through Metroid: Samus Returns (2017), Ridley appeared as the new final boss of the game. Ridley was defeated by Samus multiple times but survived almost every battle. Ridley’s body got restored, even cloned and formed to a Cyborg form as Meta Ridley in the Metroid Prime games. Ridley also appeared as a boss or stage hazard in the Super Smash Bros. games. During the end of the Nintendo Direct at the E3 2018, Ridley was revealed to be a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in December 2018 |

Ridley in our Video Game Character Art Collaboration
Ridley the old archenemy of Samus Aran joined Super Smash Bros. finally in 2018 which was a reason for us to include him as one of the choices in the tenth FGE Project round.
Shinragod claimed him quickly for this project and drew Ridley in his standard design he has in the game.
