The Phoenix Force is an Entity created by Marvel and a part of the X-Men Universe since 1976 already, in video games we were usually seeing Jean Grey using ..and used by the Phoenix Force and just called Phoenix. Phoenix in that form made its video game debut in both the Playstation and Game Boy versions of X-Men: Mutant Academy in July 2000. Phoenix returned in the two sequels of the fighting game and also made it into the popular Marvel Vs. Capcom crossover series in Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 (2011) and its Ultimate MVC3 Update. Phoenix using Jean Grey as host can also be played as Dark Phoenix sometimes. It / She is playable in some of the Lego and mostly mobile Marvel games. |
