Laguna Loire is not directly a main protagonist but still playable sometimes during “Dream Sequences” in Final Fantasy VIII (1999). He lived at a different time than the main protagonist of the game, Squall Leonhart. Laguna became a playable character in almost ten Final Fantasy spinoff games such as Final Fantasy Dissidia Duocedim 012 (2011) and Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia (2017). Unlike the majority of the Final Fantasy heroes that use weapons like Swords, Laguna is actually using a Machine Gun in battle. |
