“Hammers with a pincer. Has a high critical-hit ratio. “

Crabhammer is a Water-Type attack move introduced in Generation I. Prior to Generation III, it was the signature move of both Krabby and Kingler. It is a very powerful attack move with 100 power. This also explains why it has a limited amount of 10 PP and a 90% chance of hitting rather than 100 . Though in earlier generations, it was only at 85%.

Kingler used Ancient Power by AvanyuDesigns

Lynsey is a big Pokemon fan that joined this project relative late, it is her first contribution to a Game-Art-HQ project. she wrote the following description about her take on Kingler:

“I chose Kingler and Ancient Power. I wanted to make Kingler a little more akin to a real crab to make him a little more fierce looking, hence the extra legs and little details”

“An ancient power is used to attack. It may also raise all the user’s stats. “

Ancient Power is a unique Rock-Type move. While it does inflict damage on the opponent; it’s main draw seems to more or less increase the player’s stats. There is a 10% chance that the player’s Attack, Defense, Speed, Special Attack and Special Defense stats will increase through this move.

Three types of Pokemon are known to evolve from Ancient Power. Tangela will evolve into Tangrowth, Piloswine will evolve into Mamoswine, and Yanma will evolve into Yanmega respectively once knowing this move.

“One claw grew massively and as hard as steel. It has 10,000-HP strength. However, it is too heavy”

Kingler is a Water-Type Pokemon in the form of a giant enemy crab. It evolves from Krabby starting at Level 28.

Part King Crab and part Fiddler Crab, it’s most noteworthy feature is it’s large left claw which it uses to pry open shells of such Pokemon like Cloyster. Extremely powerful; it is also extremely heavy limiting movement for this heavyweight crustacean. They are known to communicate by flailing their pincers around.
