Hypno used Hypnosis by MiladySnowdrop

MiladySnowdrop from Italy shared mostly League of Legends fan art on her dA gallery but this changed quickly when she joined the Pokemon Tribute to take Persian, Hypno and eventually Seadra. We look forward to see more from this artist in the future!

“A hypnotizing move that may induce sleep.”

Hypnosis is a Psychic-Type move that has a 60% chance of putting the opponent to sleep. The duration to which the opponent is asleep from the effects of this move varies. But because it is a non-damaging move with high accuracy; the effects are more effective in keeping the opponent asleep for long periods of time.

One recurring awesome feature about these Art-Collaborations is that they are usually represent a truly international community of fans that come from all parts of the world. Be it Europe with their many small countries, the USA, Africa, Asia and even Australia.

Unfallen-Skies is one of the couple Australian artists that joined GA-HQ when we held an art contest about crazy crossovers and delivered a unique entry about Square-Enix vs. the Shonen-Jump Manga Stars. His contributions for the Pokemon Gen. I tribute were Hypno, Seaking and finally Magmar.

Have a look at his gallery here!

“Inflicts 1/4 damage on a sleeping foe every turn.”

Nightmare is a Ghost-Type move that puts opponents to sleep. Unlike Hypnosis however, the side-effects are far more sinister. For every turn the opponent is asleep, 1/4 of the opponent’s current HP will be lost. However, if the opponent wakes up and is merely put back to sleep with another sleep inducing move, the effects will not continue.

“Avoid eye contact if you come across one. It will try to put you to sleep by using its pendulum”

Hypno is a Psychic-Type Pokemon that evolves from Drowzee at Level 26. Like Drowzee, it enjoys eating people’s dreams and uses similar move sets. And just like Drowzee, it tends to put people asleep to feed off their dreams.

Using the pendulum-like charm is evolves with; it hypnotizes people into a deep sleep. Though curiously, it stays away from humans on less-travelled roads. While it waits for humans however, it keeps polishing its pendulum. (More likely to heighten its effects.)
