Tentacruel used Poison Sting by Verona7881

Verona from the Netherlands draws a lot of cute stuff ranging from Pokemon to characters from Sonic the Hedgehog, Rayman and even Sly Cooper. Tentacruel was her first submission to a GA-HQ Art Collaboration though, let’s see if there will be more next year when we continue with Gen II!

“A Poison-type attack. Has a one-in-three chance of leaving the target poisoned”

The Poison Sting is the first Poison-type move the Tentacruel can use. It is damage dealing and also has a 30% chance of poisoning the enemy.

Tentacruel used Barrier by MudSaw

MudSaw from the United States participated in art collaborations before and eventually joined our Pokemon Gen I Tribute with Electrode using Swift in September., followed by Tentacruel and its Barrier move and finally Grimer used Belch. I look forward to see this artist in more of our projects in the next future!

“Instantly forms a barrier between the user and the opponent. Defense is sharply increased”

Attacking is usually the best form of a Defense but sometimes, a Barrier might help as well. This move does not deal any damage but rises the defense of the casting Pokemon by two stages. Good to prevent that your Pokemon gets beaten in some cases. Tentacool is actually the first Pokemon that can learn this move by levelling up.

“It has 80 tentacles. Once they wrap around an enemy, the tentacles will not release, no matter what”

Tentacruel is a dual-type Water/Poison Pokémon that can evolve from Tentacool once it hit level 30. This Pokemon weights around 55 kg and knows some of the cruelest moves.

Pro-Tip: Run if you see it!
