Paras used X-Scissor by MuddyTiger

MuddyTiger joined Game-Art-HQ this year and debuted with her take on Arbok which looked a lot more realistic and intimidating than the original design. After that one she drew Machoke and eventually also Blastoise, Graveler is her last one in the Gen I Tribute but I am pretty sure she will be back for more in 2017 when we will continue with Generation II!

x-scissor

“The user slashes at the foe by crossing its scythes or claws as if they were a pair of scissors”

The X-Scissor is one of the Bug-Type Moves and was introduced in the Generation IV Pokemon Games (Diamond, Pearl, Platinum) It deals damage without any side effects and has a Power Rating of 80.

Paras used Poison Powder by maryd39

Mary from Ireland is a self called Pokemon addict and was fast to catch the 2nd Paras spot for our tribute. She draws a lot Pokemon as well as other stuff which you can find here.

poison-powder

“A technique that poisons the target. If poisoned, the victim loses HP steadily”

The Poison Powder move deals no damage directly but has a 75% chance of poisoning the opponent which will result in a steadily loss of HP until the effect disappears. It is ineffective against Poison-type and Steel-type Pokemon though and is also obsolete if the opponent is guarded through Immune as its ability.

“Grows by sucking nutrients from the roots of trees. The mushrooms on its back grow by drawing extracts from the bug host”

Paras looks super tasty and is a dual-type Bug / Grass Type Pokemon that can evolve into the not so tasty looking Parasect when it reaches level 24. These insectoid creatures are “hosting” tochukaso mushrooms that absorb most of the tasty nutrition from the tree roots.
