If you are as old as myself (36 now) and you had a Super Nintendo back in the early mid nineties you probably played Super Mario World 2, and you probably beat it as well because the game was and is such a lovely masterpiece. Just like this illustration of Yoshi and Baby Mario in one of the first levels of the game, drawn by Orioto who bases his works on screenshots often but adds his own style and emotions to the mix.

The first time I played SMW2 was when I got it as a 15-year-old from a rental store that had US and even some Japanese games (I am from Europe) that were released there earlier or in some cases never made it to the west/PAL regions. While I was all about games like Mortal Kombat 3 and Killer Instinct at that time, SMW2 captured me from the start to the end and I remember that I rented it for my whole pocket-money for 2 weeks so I could beat it. Those were awesome times.
