This is a very big Fan Art Project in the Making, it will grow with every entry submitted by the Artists who claimed a Character from the games

This fan art project was announced on September 12. 2011. The first entry (Cyber Sub Zero) was finished on september 14 already.
The last Character was claimed on 03.10.2011, however over 10 artists didnt submit their works, but other ones took over the missing characters
The last submitted entry was meat on the 31th january 2012
40 entries were drawn on 06.10.2011, 3 weeks after the project was announced, a week later it was clear that 6 artists werent drawing the characters they claimed, these 6 will never participate in a GA-HQ Project or Contest again.

There are more Mortal Kombat Characters which are not yet a part of this project, but i thought 80 characters are already a big number
If this project gets done in the estimated time, and it is a success and big achievement for the MK fan kommunity if will be expanded
to add more characters and most likely different versiosn of the characters (think young shang tsung, old shang tsung etc)
